By downloading, installing, or using the OBD2 Gauges application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

OBD2 Gauges is a vehicle diagnostic tool that reads real-time data from your vehicle's OBD2 port. The App is provided for informational and diagnostic purposes only.

• You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App.
• You are responsible for any OBD2 adapter hardware required to connect to your vehicle.
• Do not operate the App while driving. Always pull over and stop your vehicle before interacting with the App interface.

2. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any data displayed by the App.
• OBD2 data is read directly from your vehicle's ECU and may vary depending on your vehicle, adapter, and connection quality.
• The App is not a substitute for professional vehicle diagnostics or repair services.

3. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Light Cycle Consulting LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or vehicle damage, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

4. Vehicle Safety

Clearing diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) resets the check engine light and erases freeze frame data. This may affect your vehicle's emissions readiness status. Use the clear codes feature at your own risk and in accordance with local regulations.

5. In-App Purchases

The App may offer optional in-app purchases such as ad removal. All purchases are processed through the platform's app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) and are subject to that platform's terms and refund policies.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, and code in the App are the property of Light Cycle Consulting LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the App without written permission.

7. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
